NEW! Butler Professional Farrier School
Butler Professional Farrier School offers basic and advanced farrier
classes six weeks in length – the minimum time necessary
to learn basic farrier skills. The first half of The Principles
of Horseshoeing (P3) is used for the basic class, where students
learn to work on sound horses; and the second half of P3 is used
for the advanced class, where students learn therapeutic work on
specialized horses. The world-class facility offers on-campus housing,
individual forging stations for students to practice shaping and
fitting shoes to live horses’ feet, and a focused environment
that encourages learning. Classes are taught by Jacob, Peter and
Doug Butler.
